She joined the Teaching Staff of the Sierra Leone Grammar School in the early 1960s and served diligently in several capacities for over 50 years with unique dedication.
As far as we know, she was the first to be accorded the title of 'Honorary Old Girl' of the School.
She taught Mathematics and Economics for several decades and served as Subject Head for both subjects.
She was Acting Vice Principal of the School and, after her retirement, continued her service as a Member of the Change of Status Committee and the Board of Directors.
Her contributions to the School's development were numerous and will be clearly shown in a Tribute which we will do later.
